Shiraz
All of our shiraz vintages have been matured in the finest of American oak, both old and new.

Our 2004 vintage is traditional in style, so very rich with concentrated blackberry flavours. It has a plump mid palate opulence with a seamless, complete finish. Voted "The Best Red in WA", upon receiving a gold medal at the Blackwood Valley, Boutique Wine Show in 2006, it also received a bronze medal at the National Boutique Wine Show in Sydney.

The 2005 Shiraz is more impressive. It has dark plum and rich chocolate aromas with spicy savoury influences. With both dark rich fruit flavours, licorice overtones and toasty oak on the palate, its finish is balanced, smooth and exciting. This is a delicious wine. It has received bronze, bronze and more bronze at the 2007 WA wine shows.

2006 Shiraz
Lovely ripe blackberry and plum aromatics complemented by spicy vanillan oak characters. The palate is soft and rich displaying an excellent core of plum, chocolate and mint flavours. The length of palate is impressive with lasting flavour and a fine silky tannin finish. Enjoy in its youth for freshness or cellar with confidence to 2017.

Chardonnay
We are now marketing a silver medal award winning 2007 Chardonnay.

Sourced from Margaret River with a very slight Pemberton blend this is a magnificent wine. Light straw in colour, the aroma is of peach and cashew nuts, marmalade and toast. Full of stonefruit character with perfumed french oak. This wine is as balanced and lingers as long as the good life at Freshy Bay.
